Meet Dylan, our farmhand
Dylan is our farmhand. He has incredible knowledge of native plants and animals. He recently established his own business Eco Seed Services, sourcing ethically harvested Tasmanian native seeds.
What’s your favourite pizza?
Probably Hawaiian.
If you could pick one thing you’d change, what would it be?
The amount of logging.
What do you want to be doing in five years?
Hopefully have my own native nursery.
What’s your most public secret?
I don’t really have any.
Do you think climate change is real?
I think obviously it’s real.
What’s the best present you’ve been given?
A motorbike when I was younger.
What was your first job?
There’s two but I only did one for a day and it was terrible—it was a dishwasher at a restaurant. The other was Woolworths.
What’s your favourite Tasmanian animal?
Probably a quoll. They’re funny little things especially when they’re running around playing.
What’s it like working in the horticultural industry in Tasmania?
It’s good. There’s a lot of knowledge shared.

What do you like to do with blueberries?
Bit of everything, experimenting with new ways to use them.
